What is MTControl?

The MTControl Pen allows users to operate Val Controls units in Ex D enclosures without opening them. The magnetic pen emulates a button press, enabling full control and easy access to unit configuration—even in hazardous areas.

The primary advantage of the MTControl Pen is that it eliminates the need to open the Ex D enclosure, allowing users to perform tasks and diagnostics on the controller while the valve system remains in operation.

With the MTControl Pen, you get:

• The ability to lock MTControl with a password

How It Works

Magnetic sensors are placed beneath the physical push buttons (left, up, down, and right). When the MTControl Pen is tapped above a sensor, it detects the magnetic change and registers a button press. (See video for reference.)
